If you are ever in Valemount, British Columbia and looking for a place to spend the night, I would like to suggest the Jailhouse Bed and Breakfast.
This former police station and jail has been converted into a B & B. You can spend the night in one of the cells. They have prison outfits to put on and they even have ball-and-chains and handcuffs to make sure you don’t escape.
After your night in jail, you get a great full breakfast with eggs, toast fruit and yogurt included.
The friendly owner will make you feel welcome and you might even ask for a longer sentence.
The area around Valemount is beautiful and very popular for hiking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.
